The 2025 Czech Grand Prix at the iconic Brno Circuit delivered a thrilling weekend for Moto3 fans and for DENSSI Racing – BOE, it was a race packed with both promise and pressure. With South African rider Ruché Moodley ruled unfit to race due to an elbow injury, the team brought in young talent Marco Morelli to stand in alongside full-time rider Cormac Buchanan.
Brno once again proved itself as a fan-favorite venue, drawing a staggering 219,544 fans trackside across the weekend. Combined with a 20% year-on-year growth in global MotoGP media viewership, this round became a major visibility moment for all teams – especially emerging ones like DENSSI – BOE.
Marco Morelli: Debut Delivery
Thrown into the deep end as a last-minute replacement for Moodley, Italian rider Marco Morelli impressed from the outset. After qualifying in 8th position, he showed composure and racecraft throughout the 16-lap battle.
Final Result: 13th place
Time Behind Winner: +10.779 seconds
Championship Points Scored: 3
For a debut under pressure, Morelli’s performance signals exciting potential with the team and possibly a longer-term opportunity.
Cormac Buchanan: A Tough Outing
Teammate Cormac Buchanan unfortunately endured frustrating race, ultimately being listed as withdrawn (WD) from the official results. Whether mechanical or physical, the issue cut his run short and left him without points for the weekend. While disappointing, Buchanan has shown steady improvement throughout the season and remains a rider to watch for the rounds ahead.
Morelli’s arrival proved to be a smart call by the team, earning crucial points and attention in front of a huge global audience.
Buchanan’s DNF was a blow, but it’s part of a rookie season that’s been rich in learning.
The team leaves Brno with momentum, increased media exposure, and a sense of what’s possible as the second half of the season unfolds.
With confidence growing and team chemistry evolving, DENSSI Racing – BOE looks to regroup, recover, and come back stronger at the next round. Whether Moodley returns or Morelli continues, the Czech GP was a defining weekend for the team’s upward trajectory.
